Cape Noir Live: 'The Raven' and 'The Untold Tell Tale Heart'

Cape Noir Radio Theater presents a dramatic performance of Edgar Allan Poe's narrative poem "The Raven," and a re-imagining of one of Poe's most famous short stories, "The Tell Tale Heart," at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 29 at Snow Library. These live performances feature Bill Salem and J Hagenbuckle. 

Salem has performed with The Provincetown Theater, Eventide Theater Company and Helltown Players, as well as three seasons with the Tennessee Williams Festival. His Boston credits include The Huntington Theater, American Repertory Theater and many Shakespeare roles with Boston's Public Theater. 

Hagenbuckle is the creator and producer of Cape Noir Radio Theater. His 35-year career as a theater sound designer and composer began in the early days of W.H.A.T. His critically acclaimed work has been heard on Broadway, Off Broadway, in Europe, Regional, Boston, on Cape Cod, film, industrial events, podcasts and dance. Thirty Cape Noir episodes have been broadcast / streamed on WOMR Community Radio in Provincetown. J is an NEA/TCG Design Fellow and a Boston Elliot Norton Award recipient. 

Cape Noir Radio Theater is broadcast on WOMR 92.1 FM and WFMR 91.3. It features original stories, unique adaptations and a bit of the unexpected laced with mystery, suspense, thrills, adventure, humor and romance. Previous Cape Noir Live events at Snow Library included "An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge" and "Hello Bigelow."
